Carlo’s saying Goodbye!
Leaving guitarist Carlo Heefer has written some words to underline his recent decision, to thank the fans and his fellow band mates from past and present. Read it on our NEWS page.

Cirrha Niva is looking for a new rhythm/lead guitarist
Carlo recently announced he will leave the band to focus on his private life. For eight years Carlo has been part of Cirrha Niva. We regret to see him go ‘cos we’ve made some damn good tunes together and experienced lots of happy moments. Personally and musically we thank him for the past years!

Carlo is willing to teach his parts to the new guitarist if needed, and he will gig with Cirrha Niva until a suitable guitarist is found.

Elger is doing fine!
Our drummer made national headlines this weekend when he injured himself during his job as a mailman. An approximately 3 inch piece from a metal fence pierced his groin when he stumbled over it. Today, stitched up and avoiding the double-bass parts, he was back in business. In a few weeks he will be the ‘old’ one again.

This was probably your last chance to see us in 2011. We will totally focus ourselves on writing new songs for the For Moments follow-up. Needless to say that if the opportunity to hit the stage comes along we will take it.

New rhythm section announced
We’d like to introduce Jan-Frans Knevel and Elger van Delft as our new bass player and drummer. We already had several rehearsal together and we must say that we are glad to have them on board. You can read more of them by clicking on their names. Welcome guys!
